In addition to the regular painting course for young people, Kunsthuis André has something special in store for the summer months: a series of dynamic workshops specially designed for young minds aged between 12 and 21, who wish to explore their creative passions during the summer months.
These workshops offer a unique opportunity to delve into diverse painting techniques and styles, from classical to modern, in a relaxed and inspiring environment. Under the expert guidance of André Romijn, participants will have the chance to refine their technique, tackle new artistic challenges, and broaden their creative horizons.
Summary of Workshop Activity Programme
1. Introduction to Drawing Techniques: Learn basic drawing skills and techniques through still life drawing.
2. Exploring Colour with Watercolours: Experiment with watercolour techniques while painting landscapes or floral scenes.
3. Character Design and Illustration: Create original characters and illustrate a short scene or story.
4. Abstract Art Exploration: Explore abstract art concepts and techniques, creating an abstract artwork using mixed media.
5. Portrait Drawing Workshop: Practice portrait drawing fundamentals and create a portrait from a reference photo or live model.
6. Still Life Painting with Acrylics: Paint a still life setup using acrylic paints on canvas, focusing on composition and light.
7. Landscape Painting En Plein Air: Paint a landscape scene outdoors using oil or acrylic paints, capturing light and atmosphere.
8. Mixed Media Experimentation: Explore mixed media techniques and create a mixed media artwork with various materials.
9. Life Drawing Session: Draw poses of a live model, practicing gesture poses and longer studies to understand anatomy.
10. Personal Project Development: Brainstorm and plan a self-directed art project, receiving guidance and feedback from the instructor.
Each workshop lasts 2.5 hours and focuses on different aspects of drawing and painting, providing a comprehensive exploration of various techniques and subjects. Participants will have the opportunity to develop their artistic skills and express their creativity in a supportive environment.

A workshop of 2.5 costs 27,50 euro, including refreshments and all materials.
